IN-HOUSE R&D
At Hammerlit, we realized early on how useful and necessary it was to do our own research and development. As a result we created the Product Development department, which has been an integral part of our company for decades and has played a major role in ensuring that Hammerlit continues to be seem as the industry’s trendsetter. We not only have modern design work stations with 3D CAD programs, and equipment including a 3D printer, we also have endurance-test facilities and prototyping work stations.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND REFINEMENT
The Product Development team works separately from the day-to-day business. Creating new products ready for mass production and refining established products are their main tasks. Here quality, unlocking value-creation potential, and ergonomic design are our priorities, helping us to ensure that our products are both economical and durable.

Hammerlit GmbH’s diverse product portfolio demands a high level of expertise and flexibility from our Product Development. Hammerlit products use a wide range of materials such as stainless steel, light metals, thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, wood materials and textiles. Hammerlit has numerous injection-molding, continuous casting and deep-drawing tools for producing the highest-quality plastic products for our customers.
PATENTS
Patent protection is the responsibility of our Product Development department. Hammerlit possesses a veritable arsenal of product patents, utility patents and protected designs – a testament to our creativity, our pioneering spirit and our drive to keep exploring.
